If you have forgotten the admin password and have clicked on the "Forgot Password" option, receiving a random number could indicate that a password reset process has been initiated. In most cases, the next step would be to follow the instructions provided by the system or platform you are using to reset your password. among us

Hi Rreinha,
Please contact reolink support by email support01@reolink.com for the super password by providing the RADOM CODE.
1. Contact support01@reolink.com
2. Wait for email reply, which indicates support is online
3. Click FORGET PASSWORD
4. Get the RANDOM CODE
5. Send the code to email support01@reolink.com immediately
6. Reolink support will offer the SUPER PASSWORD in 1 min upon your email
7. Fill in SUPER PASSWORD and you will get the page for creating your new password.
Note: the random code is only valid for a few minutes, so, it is a must to have the support online and get the valid super password.
Thanks.

I think a hard reset on the camera should work qickly. Of course you have to adjust all the settings again.Reply Quote

To reset your Reolink camera's password, you can follow these steps:
- Press and hold the reset [censored]on on the camera for about 15 seconds until the camera restarts.
- Connect the camera to your router using an Ethernet cable.
- Open the Reolink App or Client on your device and add the camera by following the on-screen instructions.
- Once the camera is added, you can set a new password for it.
Note: The location of the reset [censored]on may vary depending on the model of your camera. Check the user manual for more information.

Next time to avoid forgetting your password, you can implement the following strategies:
Create a Strong and Memorable Password: Design a password that is strong and unique, using a combination of upper and lower case letters, numbers, and special characters. It should not be easily guessable but should still be memorable to you.
Use Passphrases: Consider using a passphrase, which is a longer sequence of words or a sentence. Passphrases are often easier to remember than random strings of characters while still being secure.
Password Manager: Consider using a reputable password manager to store and organize your passwords securely. Password managers encrypt your passwords and require you to remember only one master password.
Regularly Update Passwords: Change your passwords regularly, especially for critical accounts. This helps minimize the potential damage if a password is compromised.
Associate Passwords with Mnemonics: Create mnemonic devices or mental associations to remember passwords better. It could be a pattern, acronym, or a connection with something familiar to you.
Writing It Down Securely: If you find it challenging to remember certain passwords, consider writing them down and storing them securely in a physical safe or a locked drawer.
Practice Retrieving Passwords: Test yourself occasionally by trying to recall your passwords without assistance. The act of retrieval can reinforce memory.
